Topisaw Baptist and New Hope UMC

Donna and Cynthia are cousins living in Mississippi. Although they work at different churches, they decided to work together on a project to provide clean water to those in need. Both children’s groups worked hard through car washes, bake sales, garage sales, and more. By the end of the project they raised the funds to provide an entire well for a needy village in Africa.

The Leake Family has eight people in it—mom, dad, and six children ranging in age from 13yr to 5 months. After hearing about the water crisis, they partnered with their homeschool co-op to make a difference. They organized a garage sale and raised $1785, and are well on their way to raising $4800 to provide clean water for an entire village.
