10 YEARS...over 2000 WELLS

"...for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water…" (Isaiah 35:6-7)

The United Nations reports that unclean water results in almost 2 million children's deaths each year.

That's more than 5,000 children everyday!

Unclean water leads to death by cholera, relentless diarrhea, fever, sickness, and other waterborne disease for thousands of others.

Bad water is the "silent killer" in the world today. Although it doesn't get the media coverage of wars and natural disasters, it is responsible for more deaths each year than global conflict.

LIFE Outreach International is excited to enter its 10th year of Mission: Water for LIFE. Just one well can turn the most arid desert into an oasis and bring a remarkable life change to the village it serves. A new well means that good news is coming in both word and deed. The fresh water means life can thrive and not be choked out by sickness and disease, and every well is provided in Jesus’ name an ongoing witness of the love of God in that community.

Mission: Water for LIFE is made possible by friends in “distant lands” who have a heart of compassion for those less fortunate and help make these life-changing water wells available to those who could never afford them.

Since its inception, Mission: Water for LIFE has been responsible for drilling and installing more than 2,000 fresh water wells in remote villages throughout the world and the result is an amazing statistic regarding “giving a cup of water in Jesus’ name.”

Our experience enables us to place each well in strategic areas that provide on average 1000 people with clean water at an average cost of $4800. They are designed to produce years and years of service and, in many cases, a lifetime of water for villages and communities.

The average cost of each well at $4,800. Each well provides water for an average of 1,000 people or more. This means that a child can receive clean water for a lifetime for as little as $4.80.
