With
locations on five continents, LIFE Outreach has established LIFE
Centers designed to impact communities and minister to create long-term
solutions in the countries they serve.
The House of Destiny is a LIFE Center that will free children on Thailand from becoming trapped in the sex trade industry.
With
millions living in poverty, the humanitarian crisis in Africa is overwhelming
as over 1 billion people need Water for LIFE. The greatest need among the poor
is for safe, clean drinking water...because without clean water there is no
future...no life.
Nine
years ago, in remote Angola, 5-year-old John fled gunfire and bombs during this
country's civil war. He and his family sought refuge in a small village called
Damba Maria. The family had no possessions...only hope.
At the same time, LIFE Outreach set up a refugee camp in Damba Maria where we witnessed hundreds, like John and his family escaping from war. We established a mission feeding program using our nutritious soup. Little by little, we saw the changes. Faces started to fill out, little children began to run and play... lives were changing.
This
project is focusing on housing efforts with extremely poor families who live
in the mountainous regions of northern Nicaragua, one of the poorest nations
of the western hemisphere.
